Galiem and Malan have represented the Cobras in previous seasons.
However, they are expected to play vital roles for the span next season, with the 19-year-old Verreynne expected to take over the wicketkeeper gloves from Dane Vilas, who has left the team.
Jason Smith, who will travel to England next month as part of the SA A squad, is another young bra that will get a bigger role
Titans batsman Qaasim Adams has also returned to the Cobras side and the 32-year-old’s experience will be vital to Dane Piedt, who is expected to continue as captain of the side.
Veterans such as Andrew Puttick and Justin Ontong will still be part of the squad yet Rory Kleinveldt will serve more as mentor on a pay as you play contract.
In previous seasons the Cobras moved Johan Louw and Charl Langeveldt into similar roles with Langes going on to coach the Proteas – a move Kleinveldt would undoubtedly like to make in the future.
