After Chelsea sealed the deal for N’Golo Kante, the Blues are set to raid the Foxes again, threatening to break apart the Premier League title- winning team.

The 25-year-old France midfielder signed a five-year deal to join new Stamford Bridge boss Antonio Conte after a transfer fee of £25m was agreed between the clubs.

And reports in the UK media claims that PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez is next on Conte’s hitlist.

The winger turned down an improved contract from the Foxes worth £100 000-a-week and the Blues have a clear run at the Algerian with Barcelona ending their interest.

To make matters worse for Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri, goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is wanted by Everton.

Kante, meanwhile, is pleased with his move, saying: “I am so happy to have signed for one of the biggest clubs in Europe. “It’s a dream come true for me.

“The opportunity to work with Antonio Conte, a brilliant coach, and some of the best players in the world was simply too good to turn down.

“My first season in English football was very special and now I hope to go on to achieve even more during my time as a Chelsea player.”
