HEAR ME ROAR: Siya Kolisi
The Springboks proved that they mean business in 2017, beating France 37-15 at Kings Park on Saturday.

Not only was the match won convincingly, but the Springboks played with a hele nuwe spring in their step as they emphatically sealed the three-match series 2-0.

And after having had a swaar lewe in 2016, coach Allister Coetzee is once again a happy man, saying: “I think things are really falling into place for us now but we haven’t achieved anything yet.

“This is a young Springbok team. But if we continue building, we will definitely be a force to be reckoned with in the future.”

Of the hurt of the past, Coetzee adds: “Nine months ago we were all sitting here with a lot of pain at the end of a painful experience but it is also nice to be able to witness a Bok team putting in an outstanding performance.

“It’s not perfect yet, we still have lot of work to do and we are still following a process.

“But in all aspects of the game, we can be proud; our setpieces, the way we attacked and particularly for me, the way we defended.”
