POOR: Bokkies were outplayed by England in semi. CREDIT: Sourced
Like the rest of the rugby fans watching the Baby Boks getting their backsides whipped by hosts England in the Junior World Cup semifinal, former Springbok Kobus Wiese simply couldn’t understand how poor the national team’s youngsters were.

It was like boys against men as England physically outmuscled the Bokkies for a flattering, if you’re South African, 37-17 win in the end.

Wiese tweeted after the match: “England U20 teaching SA U20 a rugby lesson! We have been outclassed and this must be a great concern to Saru.

“With all our talent in SA, surely this performance by our U20 side at the WC is not acceptable or makes any sense!

“England U20 out-passed, out-muscled and out-classed SA U20! In fact, they made us look below average.”

Coach Dawie Theron moes maar op sy swaard val after witnessing the slaughter, saying: “We are very disappointed.

We played against a well- balanced England side, and unfortunately we made too many errors. So it was not a good night for us.

“One can see the disappointment on everyone’s faces, but we will work very hard ahead of our next match...”

South Africa will now face Argentina in the third-place playoff, while England will cross swords with Ireland in the final.
