Young 'thugs' bust for hijacking and illegal firearm possession.

Four dom skelms will appear in the Cape Town Magistrates’ Court after they crashed a stolen vehicle after a police chase.

The suspects, all of them believed to be 22-years-old, were arrested in Russell Road, Woodstock, during a crime prevention operation .

The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Constable Noloyiso Rwexana says a firearm and knife were also recovered from the stolen vehicle.

“They were arrested during crime prevention patrols in Russell Road,” she says.

“Upon further investigation it was discovered that the car was stolen in Delft on August 13.

“The suspects will appear at the Cape Town Magistrates’ Court on charges of hijacking and possession of an illegal firearm,” she says.
