Taylor may sue over ‘spy’ call.

Kanye West could end up in the tjoekie for recording a phone conversation with Taylor Swift.

The singer is not gonna Shake It Off after being exposed as a liar by Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, and has contacted her lawyers to investigate whether her rights have been violated after Kim shared a telephone conversation between Taylor and Kanye on Snapchat.

The 39-year-old rapper phoned Taylor in January to get her permission to call her a bitch in his new song Famous.

Kanye raps: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, I made that bitch famous.”

Even though Taylor does not explicitly give Kanye permission to use her name, she can be heard saying on the recording: “It’s awesome that you’re so outspoken about this and be like, ‘It made her famous’. It’s more provocative to say “might still have sex”.

For months Taylor acted shocked and disgusted by the song, denying Kanye’s claims that he got her approval.

Kim finally got gatvol, and uploaded the video. But what the reality star probably wasn’t aware of is that under Californian law it’s illegal to record a phone call without both parties’ consent.

And if Taylor does go ahead with a lawsuit, Kanye could be facing three years in jail, a hefty fine and even civil charges.

Her representative says: “Kanye did not call for approval but to ask Taylor to release his single Famous on her Twitter account.”

“She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that b!tch famous’.”
