Salwaa’s tasty baked Beans and Sausage Curry

Braise an onion with a little oil.

Add one clove of chopped garlic and a cut up chilli.

Cut two potatoes in quarters and braise it with the onions mixture for about 15 minutes, adding a little water as needed.


1 tsp of leaf masala / roasted masala

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1/2 tsp tumeric

1/4 tsp salt as baked beans and sausages have salt in already

2 curry leaves (optional)

1 piece stick cinnamon

2 cardamom

Add the sausages, cut into 5cm long pieces, cook for a further 10 minutes, stirring everything and add water as needed.

Lastly, add a tin of baked beans and cooked for a further 10 minutes.
