Argies want to host World Cup, Ndolo says no to Fijans and more Super Rugby action.
Argies want to host cup
Argentina want to host the 2027 Rugby World Cup.
President Mauricio Macri held a meeting with new World Rugby vice-chairman Agustin Pichot as they look to launch a formal bid.
A statement says: “The decision is in line with our objective of |promoting big sports events that will enable the country to attract tourism and investment and stimulate the development of infrastructures for the benefit of the community.”
Japan will host the 2019 event, while South Africa, Italy, France and Ireland have all expressed interest in hosting the 2023 event.

Nadolo says no to Fijians
Crusaders wing Nemani |Nadolo has turned his back on the Fiji national team.
Nadolo, who has 23 caps for Fiji, tells Stuff New Zealand: “It’s a hard decision. It’s never easy not wanting to play for your country.”
Not playing for his country doesn’t mean Nadolo won’t |support his countrymen and he believes Jarryd Hayne, who switched from NFL to join the Fiji Sevens team, will make the transition smoothly.
He adds: “He is one of those athletes who will learn really fast.”

Kiwi: The Kings don’t belong
The Kings are a joke and should not be playing Super Rugby.
So says respected New Zealand columnist Marc Hinton.
He wrote in Stuff New Zealand: “Yes, the Kings are a joke [shame on you, South Africa, for your insistence that such a lame duck be part of this competition] and the Sunwolves and Jaguares are little more than road bumps in their first year in the expanded competition…
“The Kings. Another week, another smashing. Quite why the South Africans fought so hard for this is mystifying to say the least.”
