The top two in the Super League A can’t be caught anymore.
That means either False Bay or Maties will once again walk away with the Grand Challenge Cup at the end of the season.
With the Bay having finished their season on 63 points, the smart money will be on Hawies Fourie’s Maties to win the title - they have three games in hand (one of which was played against Brackenfell last night) in which to get 10 points to top the log and win the competition.
Unbeaten to date, I’m sure they will do so with the greatest of ease.
The Bay will then finish second.
It’s also tough to look past Hamiltons for a third-place finish.
But with their final game being against Victorians at Danie Craven Stadium on Saturday, it will be the guys at Tygerberg Rugby Club that will be hoping for a Stellenbosch win.
Coach Ricky Petersen’s men are currently in fifth place. The Tiere are four points behind Durbell, who have finished all their games, but have two games left to play.
If Hammies do fall to Vics, Tygerberg will have to win their remaining matches - the first of which is at home against UWC on Saturday.
They will be hot favourites to bag the win and possibly a bonus point in that encounter.
The match of the weekend, though, will take place at the University of Cape Town where Ikeys will host surprise package UniMil on Saturday.
Isma-Eel Dollie has done a superb job with his promoted team this year and it will actually be a pity to see them slip out of the top six.
UniMil currently hold that position, but Ikeys are hot on their heels and the winner of this encounter will almost certainly book a President's Cup spot.
Ikeys do have a game in hand on their opponents, but a UniMil win would make things interesting in the final week of competition with a post-season playoff spot up for grabs.
SURVIVAL BID: Primrose

At the bottom of the pile, Pniel Villagers have been relegated without registering a single win this year.
And unless Primrose, who travel to SK Walmers on Saturday, win their two final games with bonus points and Parow NTK lose their matches, they will also be playing in Super League B next season.
NTK, though, have a tough task this weekend when they host a rampant Maties outfit at the Jan Burger Sports Complex on Saturday.
So while the season is done and dusted for some teams - and I have to add again that I’ve got no idea what the guys are doing when they work out the fixtures - there is still a lot to play for for some teams.
