Q
Hi Auntie, I just want to let you know what I did for Women’s Month.
I was married before years ago and during that time somehow ended up with a girlfriend as well.
Anyway, Auntie, she fell pregnant. Being married, I made myself skaars.
Last month I decided to post a letter to the last known address of the mother.
I have now met my daughter. She’s 29 years old, married, with two kids. We went on a boat trip, she met her sisters, I met her family, she met mine.
It was the best move I could have ever made. She’s so beautiful.
That’s the best Women’s Month anyone could ever wish for.

Sjoe, Auntie sommer has tears in her eyes from this lovely story.
You can thank your bloody stars that your daughter agreed to see you. You were a coward when you walked out on her and your skelmpie.

At least you grew a pair - even if it did take you 29 years - and faced up to your past jollery. Auntie hopes you have put those vuil maniere behind you for good.
Meneer, you have a moerse lot to make up for, and it’s not going to be easy.
Yes, a girl deserves to have her father in her life, but you have been absent for almost three decades. Daar gaan nog baie water onder die brug moet loop before this relationship is anywhere near where it ought to be.
I’m glad that you and your daughter reconnected, but now the hard work starts to make up for the past 29 years.
