DA pursues Motion of No Confidence over impeachment.

The Democratic Alliance says the time is right to push for a Motion of No Confidence in President Jacob Zuma.

Party leader Mmusi Maimane on Thursday announced the motion will be tabled in the National Assembly next week.

He says the party decided on this rather than impeachment as the latter requires a two thirds majority.

He said the DA will lay charges against Zuma, Eskom CEO Brian Molefe, Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown and Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane, who have all been fingered in former public protector Thuli Madonsela’s state capture report.
