The Thulsie twins – Brandon-Lee and Tony-Lee – accused of plotting terror attacks on Jewish and American interests in South Africa have abandoned their bail applications in the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court.
Their lawyer Annelene van den Heer informed the court of this yesterday.
Prosecutor Chris MacAdam asked for an eight-week postponement, saying the State was in the process of requesting evidence against the accused from foreign countries.
But Magistrate Pieter du Plessis said he could only afford MacAdam three weeks, and postponed the matter to November 4.
Cops bust the 23-year-old twins after they searched their home and found documents they said incriminated the pair in terror plots and plans to join Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isis).
The pair have been in custody since July 9.
