No bail for rail ‘killers’
The two suspects face charges of robbery and murder a train driver.

Bail has been denied to the three minors accused of killing and robbing Metrorail train driver Piet Botha.

The men appeared at the Bishop Lavis Magistrates’ Court yesterday for judgement on their bail application.

They face charges of murder and robbery following an incident in July this year when Piet was shot in the stomach and leg during a robbery at the Netreg train station.

All three are due back in court on December 23 after their case was postponed for further investigation.
