The family members and neighbours of the missing Miriam Links said she is very ill and has to take her medication.
They say the mom would “never just up and leave” her children.
Neighbour Mandy Layman, 26, says they have searched for Miriam everywhere.
“The family have been looking for her since she went missing on Sunday and we just cannot find her. She is well-known in the area and it seems strange that nobody saw her at all,” says a worried Mandy.
Miriam was last seen at her family home in Adam Street, Valhalla Park on 16 July about 9.30am.
She was wearing a red melton jacket, a sky blue hoody, grey pants and a red and black bandana.
Volunteers from the area have been assisting with the search, but have come up with nothing.
“She is just gone. Nobody saw anything and we have been all over. The investigating officer let us know that there is no trace of her at the hospitals, jail or any of the morgues.
“If anyone sees her please just contact the police,” says Mandy desperately.
A missing person’s case has been registered and the Pink Ladies have also sent out a call.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Miriam is asked to contact Sergeant Coetzee at Bishop Lavis police on 021 935 9082 or alternatively call the Pink Ladies on 072 214 7439/ 083 378 4882/ 072 620 7704.
