A 27-year-old man shot dead in Netreg, near Bonteheuwel, yesterday.
It’s believed the man had been visiting his mom’s house in Almandel Street when he was gunned down.
The Western Cape’s Emergency Medical and Forensic Pathology Services’ Robert Daniels said they were alerted to the shooting at 12.24pm.
“A 20-year-old male sustained several gunshot wounds at 47 Almond Street, Netreg, and subsequently passed away.”
FC van Wyk confirmed the incident. “Circumstances surrounding a shooting incident at 10.15 at Almandel Street, Bonteheuwel, Bishop Lavis whereby a 27-year-old male was fatally wounded is under investigation. A murder case was opened for further investigation, and suspects are yet to be arrested.”
