The emotional father of a young woman, who was killed during a shooting at a Stellenbosch nightclub, has taken to Facebook to express his feelings over her senseless death.
Meanwhile, it has emerged that Nicole Muller, 30, was the niece of Vernon Norton, the grandfather of baby Jordan Leigh Norton who was also killed 12 years ago.
A heartbroken Tony Absolon from Kuils River wrote a touching post about Nicole, a mother of two, who was shot and killed in Cubana early on Saturday morning.
Nicole and another clubber Donovan Jacobs, 40, died in the hail of bullets while a third person was injured.

According to a witness, the two shooters were chasing a man who ran into the club’s toilet. They opened fire on the crowd, apparently to get people to move out of the way.
Tony’s Facebook post received more than a thousand reactions.
He said Nicole was out celebrating a friend’s birthday and was shot as the group was leaving the club.
“My beautiful angel died instantly leaving behind her husband Andre and my two grandsons Daniel [5 years] and Jonah [3 years] who was at home at the time. Yes my FB friends, my daughter has become just another statistic in this messed up country of ours. Where is the justice, so many unanswered questions. Yes I am extremely angry but deep in my heart I know It was God’s will and she is in a better place right now. Nicole was the livewire of the family and I am going to miss her tremendously. My unconditional pledge to her is that i will keep the entire family together and with Andre her husband raise the boys to the best of our ability. I know that is what she want us to do. Yes, an empty seat this year at the xmas table but you will be there in spirit my ANGEL. Goodbye/ Hamba Kahle [sic],” he wrote.
