Vinesher Christians, five, died after sustaining serious head injuries when the car crashed a kiddies birthday party in Eindhoven Road, Delft, last week.
On Wednesday, angry parents gathered at Delft Police Station demanding to know why the alleged drunk driver is still walking free.
They claim the man was drunk and was dicing with another vehicle when he ended up on the pavement where several children were playing.
The incident occurred on 9 August in Eindhoven Street at a party held for Farrah Ely, three, who was also injured. Six children and two adults were hurt.
Vinesher died on her way to hospital while several other children are still in a critical condition.
UPSET: Parents of the injured kids are demanding answers from cops
At the time, police confirmed they were investigating a drunk driving case but said no arrests had been made.
Parents demanded to see the investigating officer, wanting to know what had happened with their case.
Dad Heinrich Wewers says he witnessed the incident and claims the two drivers were dicing.
“I got there a few minutes before it happened and parked my brother’s green VW Jetta next to the house,” he explains.
“I was standing on the opposite side of the house with Farrah’s father and we were watching the children. I saw a red Jetta speeding and not too far behind there was a white Opel bakkie and they were dicing.
“The bakkie lost control and veered towards the jumping castle and hit it as well as the green Jetta. All the parents got a huge fright and everyone started shouting.

“My daughter, Zoe, was also hit and taken to hospital. She is out now but is struggling to walk.”
He says the driver of the red Jetta collided with the stationary green Jetta but sped away from the scene after the crash.
The driver of the bakkie was not arrested.
Vinesher’s grieving father, Vincent, says her two siblings Lauren and Juwayne were also seriously injured and are still in hospital.
The father tells Daily Voice that the family is not coping with Vinesher’s death.
