SNEAKY: Confiscated
Police nabbed four suspects with a large quantity of dagga in Somerset West.

The bust was made on Monday when cops found three refuse bags filled with pot which was hidden on the engine under the bonnet.

Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Andrè Traut, says: “Members from the Cape Town K9 Unit were conducting crime prevention patrols in Sir Lowry’s Pass when they spotted a suspicious vehicle driving recklessly on the N2 in Somerset West.

“The members gave chase and pulled the silver Toyota Avanza from the road close to the Gordon’s Bay robot intersection.”

The four suspects, aged between 27 and 32, were arrested and detained until their court appearance in the Strand Magistrate's Court on Tuesday on drug dealing charges.
