Wakker cops arrested four suspects for drug dealing after a tip-off from the public.
Four people, aged between 25 and 41, were arrested on the N1 near Kraaifontein with dagga valued at R480 000 on Monday, Western Cape police said.
Police spokesperson Constable Noloyiso Rwexana said police acted on the information received that a white Ford Ranger LDV was transporting dagga from Lesotho to Cape Town.
“The vehicle was stopped on the N1 and upon searching it, 10 bags of dagga weighing 240kg, valued at R480 000, were confiscated.”
The four are expected appear in the Kuilsrivier Magistrates' Court today, facing charges of dealing in drugs.
