Closing arguments started on Thursday in the Western Cape High Court and will continue today.
Wilson, 20, from Heinz Park, is facing 15 charges including six counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder, rape and assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm.
One of the more horrific murders he is accused is that of slain Valhalla Park teen Lekita Moore, 18, in September last year.
Lekita’s naked and mutilated body was found on an open field in Tuna Road next to the 8ste Laan informal settlement.
She was stabbed 98 times, while her breasts and vagina were slashed.
Wilson also stands accused of the murder of 16-year-old Stacey Lee Mohale in Heinz Park in 2015. The meisie was raped and killed.
Wilson allegedly beat her up viciously before setting her alight.
Wilson has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
He blames his dead friend Xavier Bester for Lekita’s
murder.
Bester was found dead hours after Lekita’s body was found.
On Thursday, Wilson’s lawyer, Advocate Mohamed Sibda, could not conclude his closing argument and is expected to continue today.
A judgement date for the trial against Wilson is to be given once arguments from both counsels have been concluded.
