Elizabeth II is said to have called servants from Royal residences across the country to Buckingham Palace to an emergency meeting.
They will be addressed by the Lord Chamberlain — the most senior officer of the Royal Household — as well as Her Majesty’s right-hand man, private secretary Sir Christopher Geidt, the Mail reported.
But, the “highly unusual” meeting has sparked fears for the health of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.
Despite the Queen’s consort's, 95, recent health problems, both appeared to be in good health Wednesday.
The Queen met with Prime Minister Theresa May at the palace and Philip made an appearance at a London cricket club.
There's been no official statement, but a palace source told the New Zealand Herald: "You could safely assume the Queen and Prince Philip are not dead."
It is, however, speculated there will be an announcement today.
BBC Royal correspondent Peter Hunt also tweeted the meeting is not related to the health of either the Queen or Prince Philip.
There'll be a staff meeting at Buckingham Palace this morning. It's not to do with the health of either the Queen or Prince Philip.
