The pastor who went to heaven and took selfies has come under the spotlight again — this time for buying a flashy new ride worth a whopping R2 million.
Controversial preacher Paseka Motsoeneng, popularly known as Pastor Mboro, took a brag with his new BMWi8 on Twitter, where mense soon questioned where he got the money to pay for it.
But he has come out strongly against the backlash, saying God has rewarded him.
@Xolisa_Donklan said: “How tf does Pastor Mboro generate his income? I mean R2m! Sorry God but I now aspire to be a false prophet”
While @bunny_niko said: “The likes of Pastor Mboro are the reason why some of us no longer go to church. Christianity is so flawed!”
In response to his haters, Mboro said a recent spiritual journey has transformed his life.
Speaking during his show on Ekurhuleni’s Kasie FM, he reportedly said: “It’s funny because we had an incredible eight weeks, and in this [time], I said God is going to change my life.’’
Him helping the poor apparently also had its rewards.
“The bible says, those who take care of the poor, will be lifted up by Jesus. I’ve been helping the poor. God is rewarding me, with an i8,” he said.
