PRESSURE: Russell Domingo.

Bokke and Proteas get ready for new eras.

The Proteas and the Springboks are both hoping for successful new eras.

With the national cricket teams still under review, the Proteas must bring their A-game when they face the West Indies and Australia in a triangular series, starting next Friday.

The Boks face Ireland, who revealed their touring group yesterday, at Newlands next weekend with new coach Allister Coetzee announcing his first squad this Saturday.

Domingo wants to make an impression against Australia, who SA face in three Tests later this year.

But he knows the Windies will be on a high after winning this year’s World T20 campaign.

Domingo says: “The West Indies have won three more World Cups than we’ve won and they’ve won it in one year. Their cricket is riding the crest of a wave at the moment, they must be very confident and pleased with their programmes.”

Meanwhile, Bok boss Toetie has completed his road trip to SA’s Super Rugby teams to share his philosophy.
