Miss South Africa Ntandoyenkosi Kunene sure knows how to have a good time and recently splashed the cash on an overseas holiday.
The beauty queen took a trip to Neustift in the Austrian state of Tyrol, spending a good portion of the R2 million prize money she got when she won Miss SA.
The 24-year-old took her sister Zamanyabose Mthethwa with her and took hundreds of pictures of them frolicking in the snow.
It was her first trip abroad as Miss SA, but the qualified teacher from Mpumalanga admits going skiing would not have been her first option.
Posting comments and pictures on Instagram, Ntandoyenkosi, says: “I’ve always wanted to go overseas but this trip has far exceeded my wildest dreams.
“I would have never chosen this trip myself. I am so grateful to have had this trip chosen for me. What an unforgettable experience.”
And she advised her fans to “do something different. Plan a different trip”.
She doesn’t say who chose the holiday destination for her, but she didn’t spend a moment complaining, making the most of the snow.
Ntando says: “It’s hard to describe how I’m feeling – both excited and nervous at the same time! Good news is that I have already had some private skiing lessons and cannot wait to hit the slopes.’
The reigning jetted back into SA earlier this week, and is home safe and sound.
