Meet the ‘imported’ bosses


Ajax and Stormers get foreign coaches

Ajax Cape Town and Western Province are looking to the future with new coaches.

PSL strugglers Ajax have promoted Head of Youth, Stanley Menzo, to the top job after Roger de Sa quit last Thursday.

And WP have named New Zealander Paul Feeney as their new skills coach after a successful 10-day stint with the side in August.

Menzo has his work cut for him with the Urban Warriors battling through an eight-game winless start to the season.

And the former Ajax Amsterdam and Holland goalkeeper will have to lift his team in time for Wednesday’s trip Free State Stars.

For Feeney, who arrives in the Cape today, he will have some more time on his hands to get Province’s manne up to speed with the best skills in rugby.

The former Auckland Blues coach, who is on a three-year deal, can get his
schedule worked out before the start of Super Rugby season kicks off next
