Bafana Bafana face Liverpool’s danger man Sadio Mane when they take on Senegal in Polokwane this Saturday (3pm).
Mane is on fire for the Reds since joining the Jurgen Klopp revolution from Southampton at the start of the season.
The 24-year-old forward has scored six Premier League goals for the free-scoring table toppers.
And the likes of Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Rivaldo Coetzee and Abbubaker Mobara will have a stern test against a man whose confidence is sky-high.
Mane’s club captain Jordan Henderson believes his teammate is just getting better.
Hendo says: “Sadio was a big talent at Southampton. From the performances he put in and the goals he scored, you could see the ability he had.
“But since he’s come here he’s gone up another level. You have to give credit to the manager and to his staff for that, as well as to Sadio himself for the work he’s put in.
“He’s gone up another level tactically and in terms of intelligence. I’m sure Sadio would tell you the same. But he’s also put in the hard work and that’s what’s getting him the rewards.”
