Don't be surprised if this model looks familiar to you, you’ve probably seen her on TV or in a magazine.

Cindy Solomons, 20, came onto the modelling scene two years ago but has already walked the runway at some larney events.

The Atlantis meisie is a Fanjam agency model and says: “When I started modelling two years ago, I wasn’t that into it. I then started noticing my passion and now I am living my dream.”

The third-year Travel and Tourism student is graduating this year and will be going on a world tour.

“The tour will be for work, but I will get my days to explore. I can also say I will be marking off a few bucket list items and will be visiting my dream city – Milan – the fashion capital,” an excited Cindy says.

The brunette beauty has starred in local and international adverts and is also a favourite on the runway.

“I have done the Marie Claire 2017/18 summer collection and the V&A Waterfront magazine 2017/18 summer collection.

“I have appeared many times on the Expresso show.

“I have done adverts for Lindt, African Bank, Coca-Cola and many online shopping stores.

“I have many international clients, some ranging from the UK, Germany and Sweden. Most recently I walked the runway for the Cape Town Wedding Expo.”

Cindy, who matriculated from Robinvale High School in Atlantis three years ago, loves encouraging young people to follow their dreams.

“It’s always so amazing when people stop me, or give me a call to say I am a real inspiration.

“I will never turn anyone away and I will give out agency details, and email addresses to anyone who aspires to go into the field of modelling.

“My greatest supporters are my family. The best moment is seeing their pride when they see me on TV.

“My message to everyone out there is to do what makes you happy. It’s hard work to achieve your goals but persevere, it’s worth it,” she says.
