AIRS LAUNDRY: Cassper Nyovest

Cassper Nyovest has dropped some serious bombshells on his latest album.

The rapper makes hectic claims on his latest album – from his mother’s battles with suicidal thoughts to his half-a-billion-rand deal with AG Mobile.

The recording artist – real name Refiloe Maele Phoolo – dropped his much anticipated third studio album, titled Thuto, on Friday, reports Timeslive.

He raps about his mother being suicidal on the album’s opening track, Confused, saying: “The other day my mother told me she was suicidal. [This is] the same soldier who told me to read the Bible.”

On the track Bentley Coupe, he raps about growing up in poverty.

Cassper raps: “I was always visiting * *****. I never hosted. I was always too embarrassed that we didn’t have enough toast,” Cassper raps.

Spilling his regrets about having “manipulated” ex-girlfriend Boity, he raps in the track I Wasn’t Ready for You:

“I started giving the side b****** your side of the bed. That s*** was so disrespectful and I don’t have an excuse. I look at myself in the mirror like, ‘Dawg, what happened to you? You told this woman you loved her and then you promised her joy. She needed a man and you acted like a boy. Manipulated her mind. I got you confused. It’s time I admit I wasn’t ready for you.’”

On Destiny, he expresses his hurt and anger at an ex “partying with his enemy” and leaving him for a businessman.

He has the last say in We Living Good, when he raps about his half-billion rand dealt with cellphone firm AG Mobile.

“Pineapple Cîroc when we celebrating. AG Mobile half-a-billion from association.”
