It’s everyone’s favourite time of the month – payday!
Now we’re all merry and jolly, well, at least until the first debit orders go off, lol.
Don’t be sad though, because the Global Bubble Parade is happening in Green Point on Sunday.
No matter how old you are, bubbles will always be lekker to play with – they’re pretty, they float around and they’re fun to pop.
Now imagine running through thousands of bubbles – that’s what you can expect at the Bubble Parade.
Bring your bubble mixture and join the fun.
There’s no admission fee and it’s of course child-friendly.
The aim of the worldwide event is to spread happiness and joy, and to promote diversity.
If you like men in tights, or you’re a man who likes wearing tights, then the Super Hero Charity Dash, a 5km run where you can pit your strength against the Spideys, Batmans and Supermans of the Mother City, is for you.
Funds are being raised for the local charity Little Brinks and the Cancer Association of South Africa.
The race starts at Mouille Point and takes you along the stunning Sea Point promenade, where you can drop-off donations like a toy, food, shoes and clothing, as well as baby necessities like formula, baby food and toiletries.
The event falls over Ramadaan, so Capetonians have been promised another Super Hero Charity Dash later on in the year for those who miss this month’s one.
Enter online via superherodash.co.za.
Adults pay R80 per person and a child entry is R20.
The fun walk kicks off at 10am.
