South African kwaito star Mduduzi “Mandoza” Tshabalala has has passed away.
His family has confirmed that he lost his battle to cancer yesterday, about a year after he had been diagnosed with a brain tumour.
The 38-year-old died around midday after he was rushed to hospital in the morning.
Fans took to social media to express their shock at the musician’s passing.

Mandoza was catapulted into stardom by his hit song, Nkalakatha, in 2000.
