Women’s Day might have been done and dusted earlier this week, but there are still a few parties that are dedicated to the ladies.
Because remember, we are celebrating women for the whole month of August.
There’s a belated Women’s Day jol happening at the Matroosfontein Hall tonight, presented by K9 Sound & Entertainment.
It’s billed as a Women’s Day celebration and as part of the festivities, ladies are encouraged to stick to the glitz and glamour dress code as well as red lips.
The MC for the evening is Mitchells Plain comedienne Mel Jones who will no doubt keep the crowd entertained.
The singing will be done by Salome and Aisha Abby Lendor, better known as Koekie.
Tickets are R100 and mense can take their own platters and drinks into the venue.
Contact Dawn Moore on 061 457 7826 or WhatsApp 078 115 2211 for more info or to book your seat.
On Saturday, there is a Pick Your Style event happening at the Athlone Civic Centre, and it promises to be a special treat for the ladies.
There will be loads of stalls selling the latest fashions, jewellery, scarves, toys and of course food as well.
Entrance is free and proceeds of the event will go towards little Azraa Jacobs, five, who attends Carel Du Toit School in Tygerberg and is in need of speech therapy after a cochlear implant operation.
Doors open at 11am.
