Star duo share a kiss on stage

While Queen Bey ruled at the MTV Video Music awards on Sunday, it was Rihanna and Drake’s very public displays of affection that stole the show.

The songstress, 28, performed four times and sang 13 of the biggest hits in her 13-year career, including Rude Girl, Diamonds and Only Girl In The World.

She was presented with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award by Canadian rapper Drake, who sang her praises.

The two have been romantically linked but it’s not certain if they’re in a serious relationship.

“She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old. She’s one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life, I’ve looked up to her even though she’s younger than me,” said Drake.

Dressed in a long silver-gray gown, Rihanna, after accepting her trophy, pecked Drake on the cheek, but he leaned in and vryed her on the neck.

Also making her comeback to the MTV stage was pop princess Britney Spears, 34.

Beyoncé arrived on the red carpet accompanied by the mothers of three black men who have died at the hands of US cops in the past two years.

The star bagged eight statuettes, including the top prize — Video of the Year — for Formation, beating Adele’s Hello, Drake’s Hotline Bling, Justin Bieber’s Sorry and Kanye West’s Famous.
