Springbok and Stormers star Siya Kolisi has signed a new contract — with his new bride.
The hunky Cape loose forward tied the knot with fiance Rachel Smith on Saturday, after an eight-month engagement.
The larney reception was held at the Molenvliet Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, and was attended by teammates Nizaam Carr and Scarra Ntubeni, to name a few.
Rachel looked stunning in ’n spierwit wedding gown and veil, while Siya, leaning on crutches, wore a navy blue suit.
He injured his knee in the Super Rugby quarterfinal defeat to the Chiefs at Newlands last month.
Everyone cheered when the newlyweds took to the floor for their first dance, with Siya swivelling on his crutches.
The 25-year-old popped the big question a day before fellow loose forward Nizaam married wife Aa’esha in December last year.
Nizaam said he gave his pal some useful hints and tips for the proposal.
But Siya “went overboard” and took his girl on a helicopter ride over the Mother City and proposed to her mid-air.
He posted a picture on Instagram of the two of them in the helicopter, with Rachel showing off her engagement ring.
He captioned the pic: “She said yesssssss!”
Siya and Rachel have a one-year old son, Nicholas Siyamthanda Kolisi.
Nizaam said they are now planning to get Scarra — who is dating girlfriend Kirsten Amsterdam for the past five years — to the altar.
