All the glitz and glam of Hollywood came to life on stage at the Sea Point Civic Centre on Saturday night.
The Miss Hollywood Look-A-Like pageant was reborn after a 19-year absence and it proved to be worth the wait.
Sasha Le Strange, who took on the persona of Katy Perry, was crowned the Queen of the night.
It was her jet black hair and elaborate costumes just like the Roar singer’s that won the crowd and the judges over.
Zakiyyah Ryklief from Kensington was cheering for Sasha to take top honours.
“She’s beautiful and she looks just like Katy Perry,” reckons Zakiyyah.

The entertainment on the night did also not disappoint, and the group 3D had the crowd on their feet.
Angel La La More, Kat Gilardi and Tiara Skye even jumped off the stage during their performance and shook their booties right in the middle of the audience.
They did Uptown Funk, a medley of Beyoncé songs, and then closed off with Boyz 2 Men’s End Of The Road and by then the hele crowd was singing along and cheering.
But the night belonged to Katy Perry who stole the show and the crown with her drag diva gowns and sparkling personality.
The organisers promised mense that they would do their best to host another Miss Hollywood Look-A-Like pageant next year so no one need wait another 19 years to see their favourite “celebs”.
