It’s been a year since they’ve broke up, but it seems Nicole Scherzinger just can’t forgive Lewis Hamilton for dumping her.
The former Pussycat Doll took a swipe at the F1 racing driver, writing a song about heartbreak during the latest round of X-Factor auditions.
The former couple were together for seven years, splitting a number of times before the final break-up in July last year.
And Nicole proved that she’s still hurting over Hamilton, 31, who is jolling with singer Rita Ora, 25, these days.
The 38-year-old was moved when one contestant sang her song Run, and explained: “This song is about running away from bad things in your life.”
Lyrics include: “here’s some advice for the next one, don’t let him lead you to the dark” and “he’ll leave you with a broken heart”.
Fellow judge Simon Cowell wasn’t shy to point out: “Why did this song make me think of Lewis Hamilton? It just came into my head listening to it. Run away, Nicole, run away fast.”
And the brunette beauty agreed, replying: “Yes, let’s do that. Let’s dedicate those lyrics and that song to Lewis as well, shall we?”
Nicole once again stole the show at the auditions in a sexy red dress as she arrived at Wembley Arena in London on Saturday.
She is reportedly also having trouble with her berk, Bulgarian tennis ace Grigor Dimitrov, 25.
A source said the singer was ready to settle down, but Grigor was not ready.
“It’s the situation she had with Lewis…She’s aware she is not getting any younger and wants kids.”
