Lambie a kopseer

BOK BLOW: flyhalf Pat Lambie in Ireland Test.

The Sharks are likely to be without Patrick Lambie again tomorrow night against the Sunwolves and it is possible he may not feature for the them in the playoffs games either.

It is now a month since Lambie was knocked out by a dangerous tackle from Ireland’s CJ Stander at Ellis Park on June 11 and he is still suffering headaches.

Despite this, he has been bracketed on the bench with Curwin Bosch by coach Gary Gold for the clash.

Of his squad captain, Gold says: “He is feeling a lot better but still has slight symptoms.

“That was one heck of a knock he took and obviously the medical team will take no chances… you just don’t mess around with concussion.”

Meanwhile, centre Paul Jordaan will also miss the clash after limping from the field early in the game against the Lions. Springbok fullback Willie le Roux is still injured (shoulder), while winger JP Pietersen will lead the team in the absence of Tendai Mtawarira who will be rested.
