Kanye West’s footwear, called Yeezy, are the hottest item for your feet right now – and he’s sure making his tekkies fans work for it.
The rapper has created a military-like drill for those on the hunt for Yeezys, and you’ve got to wonder if it’s worth it.
People are already lining up at two Los Angeles locations for a shipment that only comes in next week Friday.
Once the stores are notified how much pairs they’ll each get, the managers will give the first 60 people in line a wristband, which makes them eligible to buy one pair of the skoene for $350 (R5 400 ) a pop on March 18th.
Here comes the drill – the people with wristbands are required to come back to the store three times a day to check in – at noon, 4 pm and 8 pm, with their IDs.
And if they miss even one ID check they’re out of the game and the next person in line gets a wristband.
It’s believed most of these mense will go on to resell their Yeezys for up to $1 000 (R15 400) per pair.
