Star rocks GrandWest.

Tevin Campbell was literally falling over his feet to serenade Cape Town.

The RnB star took a tumble off the stage on Saturday night at GrandWest, while he was singing his hit Can We Talk For A Minute.

He immediately got up, finished the song and then, in a fit of giggles, told the crowd: “All I could think about was, Beyonce fell on stage and she kept on singing, I must just keep singing.”

After the show Kevin also tweeted: “Yup I fell on stage tonight and I fell hard and it was unforgettable and I got right up like nothin’ happened but something did happen tho”.

OPENING ACT: Black Ties warmed stage for Tevin Campbell at Grand Arena.

Twitter users had sympathy for the singer.

@li_298 tweets: “@tevincampbell fell him in his moer but held it together well,” while @Avish82 said: “@tevincampbelll he got up so quick I barely saw it but was great recovery and he won all the ladiess hearts all over again.”

When he found good footing again, Tevin reminded everyone why he’s a star, stealing hearts with fan favourites including I’m Ready, Come Back To The World and Brown Eyed Girl.

Moushfiqah Gierdien from Kensington was lucky enough to win tickets to the show after entering a KFM competition.

She jokes: “I am that original brown-eyed girl from back in the day.”

There was some stiff competition for that title though, including Christelle Adonis from Tafelsig, who says: “I have been a fan all the years already.”

Tevin clearly lapped up all the cheering, and promised the crowd that he will be back in the Kaap soon.

PARTY: The crowd had a blast dancing and singing along to all the mega hits.
