Yaya Toure and Joe Hart could be the biggest casualties of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City revolution.
Midfielder Toure did not travel to Romania with City’s squad for tonight’s Champions League first leg qualifier against Steaua Bucharest (kickoff 8.45pm).
The midfielder, who is not injured, was left out of the City squad for their 2-1 win over Sunderland on Saturday and clearly is not part of Guardiola’s plans.
Toure’s axing comes just two days after first-choice goalkeeper Hart was dropped by Guardiola in favour of Willy Caballero, with City ready to offload the England No.1.
City are willing to listen to offers from £20m for shot-stopper Hart and reports in Spain claim that Barcelona keeper Claudio Bravo has agreed terms with City.
