Keagan Dolly is fit to star for Bafana Bafana against Egypt tonight and is hoping to bring some goals to the team (kickoff 7.30pm).
Bafana Bafana have been in poor form at home when it comes to scoring goals.
Hlompo Kekana’s bundled-in strike in their 1-1 draw with Mauritania on Friday was South Africa’s only goal on home soil in their failed Afcon 2017 qualifying campaign.
But in the Nelson Mandela Challenge clash at the Orlando Stadium, Mamelodi Sundowns talisman Dolly is keen to add some confidence in front of goal.
Back from a hamstring problem, the 21-year-old says: “It’s always a privilege to represent my country at any level, and the two goals I scored against Zambia are great for my confidence.
“After my first game, against Sudan, which wasn’t the best performance from me, it was really important for me (to score).
“If I get the chance to play tomorrow, I know what’s expected from me now.”
Hopefully the rest of his teammates know what is expected from them.
