Four ‘car thieves’ bust

ARRESTS: Grassy Park SAPS acted swiftly

An early morning patrol led to the arrest of suspected skelms after jump a red traffic light.

Wakker Grassy Park cops nabbed four suspects after they were caught driving a stolen vehicle.

Cops smelled a rat when they saw there was no key in the ignition.

Constable Noloyiso Rwexana says the cops were patrolling at about 7.30am on Friday morning when they noticed a gold coloured LDV (light delivery vehicle) that jumped a red traffic light.

“Police pursued the vehicle and found four men inside. The members noticed the vehicle had no key in the ignition. Upon further investigation, it was discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen in a Wynberg case.”

Four suspects aged between 31 and 42 were bust on charges of possession of a stolen car. It’s believed these suspects are affiliated to the “Six Bob” gang .
