If you have a love-hate relationship with scary movies and plot twists, then The Boy is a must-see.
It’s kind of a combination of Dolly Dearest, Halloween and Scream. Although it won’t make you k** in your pants.
The film tells the story of Greta (Lauren Cohan), an American nanny, who moves to what seems to be a very remote part of the UK’s countryside, to look after the family’s little boy, Brahms (James Russell), while his elderly parents is met vakansie in ou Parys.
Greta is shocked to discover that “the boy” is actually a life-size doll, but decides to stick around anyway.
After violating a list of strict rules, disturbing events lead her to believe that the doll is really alive. But is it?
The movie has a PG rating, and it’s strongly recommend ed to watch it alone, at night and preferably while it’s raining – for effect mos.
