Crowd goes bos at Salome's show.

Salome Damons once again showed why she is called the “Woman with the Golden Voice”.

The Cape Flats diva from Lentegeur took to the stage to celebrate 20 years of what she does best at the weekend.

Salome made a grand entrance at the packed Grace Performance Centre in Parow, rising from the stage in a cloud of smoke, singing the Tina Turner hit, Whatever you Want.

Screaming fans went bos as she threw off a cloak to reveal a black leather fringy miniskirt, paired with a sexy black blouse and black gloves.

It was the singer’s first solo concert in many years, and she paid special tribute to her mother Joan Damon, who was sitting in the front row with the rest of her sisters.

As she belted out the Regina Bell hit, If I Could, members of the audience reached for their tissues.

There were some nice surprises on stage — Robin Peters and Candice Thornton also put in an appearance, with Robin getting the crowd going with To Dream The Impossible Dream.

Salome came out from backstage joking with Robin: “Dis nie jou show nie, baby”.

Salome recently had a talent search in Mitchells Plain, and the winner was to perform at her show.

Marvin Hyser from Aloe High School in Lentegeur didn’t disappoint and people were impressed with his kwaai rendition of We Believe.

The diva ended off her show with the song that made her famous, What I Do Best.
