The trial between an ANC dik ding and his employee has been postponed until March.
Secretary of the ANC in the Western Cape, Faiez Jacobs, is accused of assaulting Wesley Seale, in November 2015.
Jacobs pleaded not guilty on Wednesday in the Cape Town Magistrates' Court on charges of assault to do grievous bodily harm.
Seale was first to take the stand, explaining dramatically how his superior beat him to a pulp.
He said Jacobs repeatedly shouted at him: “ Jy vat my lankal vir 'n n***!”
Spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority, Eric Ntabazalila, said yesterday: “The matter has been postponed until 13 March for the continuation of the trial.”
