Start off your weekend with a Concert innie District.
Tonight, the Joseph Stone Auditorium will come alive with the sounds of District Six, as artists from all over Cape Town raise their voices in an ode to the legendary neighbourhood.
The show, produced by LOL Productions includes talented artists such as Madeegha Anders, Giempie Vardien, Neesa Abrahams, Mujahid George and Ekraam Cupido, who will take you on a musical journey through time in remembrance of the legacy that is District Six.
Most enticing will be comedian Waseef Piekaan, who will share his kaas-funny humour to liven up the night.

Elsewhere, former Touchdown vocalist Leonay le Roux lights up the stage at Jackson Hall this month, performing live every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night from 9pm.
The songstress, now a member of the popular Cape Town band, Airborne, is well-known on the local music scene, having shared the stage with various artists during her career including The Rockets, Zayn Adam, The Boys, Madeegha Anderson, Alistair Izobell and the Taliep Petersen Band.
She is currently working with musician and songwriter Sean O’Connell, the founder of Airborne.
The band features saxophonist and recording artist Mathew O’Connell, trumpet player Ian Smith, guitarist Angelo Cyster, bass player Sean Johannes and drummer Randall Cyster.
