Crunchy Crumbed Chicken Strips

FAVOURABLE: Chicken strips

One kilogram ready-made strips or six chicken breasts, sliced

Oil for frying

For crumb batter:


Salt and Pepper

Mixed herbs

Half a cup of flour

2 eggs


Heat oil in a deep pan. Mix all the dry ingredients together. Whisk the two eggs.

Dip chicken strips first in the egg then in the batter. Fry until golden brown.


To make a platter, lay down a bed of lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, pineapple and strawberries, and add your chicken strips. You can also add cold meats like viennas and polony and fried wedge potatoes om daai platter te rek.
