The rugby vultures are circling Newlands Rugby Stadium where the Western Province Rugby Union is fighting money matters.
While president of the union, Thelo Wakefield, has promised that everything will stay the same, the current situation is sure to have an unsettling impact on the players.
And the rugby giants overseas have taken note, so much so that they are looking at signing a few of the union’s stars.
Fullback Cheslin Kolbe is one of the Stormers’ stars that is in high demand, with his agent confirming to the Daily Voice that he is not only wanted in France, where reports have linked him with Toulouse, but other big European clubs are also interested in the services of the 23-year-old.
Kolbe, who went on tour with the Springboks to the UK recently, was overlooked for the match against the Barbarians and is yet to make his debut in the Green and Gold.
