Chad is back to winning ways in pool


Le Clos captured gold ahead of Germany’s Philip Heintz.

South African swimming sensation Chad le Clos claimed victory in the men’s 200m butterfly at the FINA World Cup Series 2016 in Moscow at the weekend.

Le Clos captured gold in 1:49.10 ahead of Germany’s Philip Heintz in second (1:52.52) and Hao Yun of China in third (1:52.61).

Le Clos says: “I’m very happy. It was a good day for me, with two wins. I got some good results. After the first event I was a little bit tired. But despite this it was a good time for me.”

Over in the Berlin leg of the FINA World Cup, meanwhile, Cameron van der Burg took first place in the 100m breaststroke.
