Under-fire Springbok boss Allister Coetzee has been told to forget about the haters.
There have been calls for Toetie’s head as the Bokke slumped to a sixth defeat since the former Stormers coach took the reins in April.
But Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula has told South Africans to give Coetzee a chance as he struggles to turn the Boks into a force again.
After historic losses to Japan, Ireland and Argentina in the past 13 months, tomorrow’s game against Italy has a lot riding on it (kickoff 4pm).
With the pressure building on Toetie and the Boks, Mbuks tweets: “There is no team that was built on a single day.
“As much as the loss of the team is unprecedented, the criticism must be constructive.
“Coach, make your descions and stay with them, dispel any notion that you are not your own man’s word. You’ve our unwavering support.
“Remember there are many experts and many coaches, at the end you are the only coach of the national team. Pick your team – build your team.”
