Springbok coach Allister Coetzee admits he is sounding like a broken record — as he again blamed discipline after Saturday’s defeat.
But he is also acting like one by calling back Willem Alberts to his squad as an injury replacement for lock Lood de Jager.
It was the same old mistakes from the Bokke that let Australia back into their Rugby Championship clash in Brisbane.
With the Springboks taking an early 14-3 lead, the Wallabies ultimately clawed their way back to win the match 24-17.
And coach Allister Coetzee says he is sounding like a broken record when talking about their discipline issues.
Coetzee says: “I was really pleased with the start. But I’m starting to sound like a cracked record – our discipline let us down, which let Australia back into the game.
“They got territory from it and put us under pressure.”
More worrying for fans is Alberts’ return ahead of their clash against the All Blacks this weekend.
Alberts is a crash ball specialist, which flies against everything we need to see from the Boks to challenge the world champions.
